It all started when...

in 1997, with my first paycheck, I  booked a flight to Cuba. The trip in minivan, out of the airport was the first time I saw with my own eyes kids, mums and dads living in shanty towns with no running water. This changed my life.

Since then, I have strived to do my part to make a difference. I did so by working for leading development organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme, the French Development Agency or the Australia's Aid Directorate. I have worked on an array of issue areas, producing innovative research, evaluations and impact assessments.

On joining the French Development Agency (AFD), I have been blessed to work directly for its Chief Economist, Pierre Jacquet, a prominent thought leader who now leads the Global Development Network (gdn.int). I was then to become a long time assistant to Jean-Michel Severino, the CEO of the AFD, who transformed our organization as only a visionary leader can do. I later moved to the Research and Evaluation Department. Adding to this my experience with the UN system and the Australian Government (DFAT), I have worked on over forty development projects and programmes across Africa, Latin America and South East Asia, China, India.
